● Integrated Surveillance · Pilot 2026–27

Protecting India's health, together.

A public health initiative bringing human, animal & environmental health data under a single, decision-ready platform — piloted on Avian Influenza, Kyasanur Forest Disease and Brucellosis in Tamil Nadu & Telangana.

What is One Health?

One Health is an integrated approach that recognises the health of people, animals and ecosystems as interconnected. More than 60 % of known human infectious diseases are zoonotic — spread from animals — and roughly three-quarters of emerging infections originate at the human-animal-environment interface. Prevention is faster, cheaper and more effective than response.

India's National One Health Mission (NOHM) coordinates action across 16+ ministries. This platform brings the surveillance side together — human, animal, wildlife, and environmental signals in one operating picture.
